Terms and Conditions for Ticket Purchases

By purchasing a ticket to the Refuge Tech Safety Summit 2025, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Payment Policy

1. Payment via PayPal: If you choose to pay your ticket using PayPal, your place at the conference will be secured immediately upon successful payment.
2. Payment via invoice: If you choose to pay your ticket using invoice payment method, we will contact you shortly after signing up with an invoice for the ticket fee. Payment of the invoice must be made within 30 days of the invoice issue date. Failure to pay within this timeframe will result in the cancellation of your reservation.

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have received the necessary approval from your manager or organisation to use a company card for this transaction.

Ticket Transfers and Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend the Summit, your ticket may be transferred to another individual.

To request a ticket transfer, please email us at techsafetysummit@refuge.org.uk with the details of the new attendee.

If a transfer of the ticket is not feasible, you may cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase to receive a full refund.

After the initial 14-day period, refunds will no longer be issued, and payment will remain required. However, you may still transfer the ticket. Please ensure you review our terms and conditions carefully prior to making your purchase.

This policy applies to tickets purchased via PayPal and invoice. Even if payment has not yet been made for an invoice, failure to cancel within the 14-day period will result in you being legally liable for the full ticket price.

Please note that no refunds will be available after August 22nd, 2025. Refund requests received after this date will not be processed.

Refunds cannot be applied for after the event has taken place, regardless of the circumstances.

Code Of Conduct

Refuge is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and friendly environment for all attendees.

By attending the conference, you agree to abide the event’s code of conduct, which prohibits behaviours including intimidating, harassing, discriminatory, abusive, derogatory or demeaning conducts by any attendees.

Violation of this code will result in the immediate removal from the event without a refund, your user will be made inactive which will prevent you from participating further in the conference and a permanent ban on participation in future conferences organised by Refuge.

Event Changes and Cancellation

The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event programme, including changes to speakers, topics and schedules. Any significant changes will be reflected in the Refuge Tech Safety Summit 2025 website as soon as possible.

In the unlikely event that the conference is cancelled by the organisers, the ticket holders will receive a full refund.
